A Fisherman's Tale 2 is a VR-only puzzle adventure and the sequel to A Fisherman's Tale. You play Bob, a wooden puppet whose body is the main puzzle: you take off your hands, steer them on their own and swap them for attachments found along the way. A narrator tells the story of Bob's past through his daughter Nina. It is a single-player game for headset owners.
Steam reviews are very positive (115 of 135), but only two review texts were available here, so this rests mostly on those numbers and the tags. Both reviewers praise how the game changes the formula instead of repeating the scale tricks of the first game, and its visuals, music and story. Tags point to a linear, funny and casual experience.
One reviewer found the controls for steering detached hands awkward on Valve Index controllers. It is short, around three to four hours, though longer than the first game. If you own a headset and liked the original, it is worth it; without VR you cannot play it at all.
