Escape from 8-Bit High is a fully voiced retro point and click adventure set in 1989. Rock trio Blueberry Finn arrive to play prom night at Cloudydale High and must stop the Evil Pomodore 64, a rogue AI born from a cassette. You switch freely between three characters on separate adventures, from zombie-filled school halls to outer space and the Earth's core, and fight enemies in an arcade-style Music Battle System. It suits solo players who grew up on Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle.
With 17 Steam reviews, 16 positive, the evidence is limited but warm. Players praise the humour, voice acting, funky soundtrack and 1980s pop-culture references, and compare it to Zak McKracken meeting Day of the Tentacle.
