Madorica Real Estate is a Japanese escape game played partly on paper. You are a new estate agent sent to clear ghosts from cursed houses, and each of its 20 levels comes with a floor plan you are meant to print, write on and sometimes fold or cut. It suits solo puzzlers with a printer who want something that cannot be done on a screen alone.
Only 23 players have reviewed it, but 21 of them recommend it. The detailed review calls the paper element unlike anything else and says the puzzles use it well. A few puzzles feel odd or underclued, but they make sense in hindsight, much like a real escape room.
The main complaints are price and comfort. The full price buys a few hours of play, and the first-person view can cause dizziness for players prone to it. A digital map is available in-game, but the charm is in the printouts. Worth trying for anyone curious about pen-and-paper puzzles, ideally on sale.
