Project Cabin is a tiny first-person escape game: you are inside a snowed-in cabin and need to work out how to open the front door. You grab and drag objects, rummage through drawers, use an axe and poke at the fireplace, with binaural sound meant for headphones. It suits achievement hunters and players who want a cheap, old-school puzzle snack.
The 12 Steam reviews are Mixed, eight positive and four negative. Fans enjoy the creepy, claustrophobic mood and the old adventure-game feel. Critics point to object logic that makes little sense, such as a basketball in the fireplace or a candy cane for the snowman, and to an axe you can use too early and get stuck. Several needed a walkthrough, and others report objects snagging on walls and a poor menu at high resolutions.
It is very short, usually under an hour, with no save and easy achievements. At full price that feels thin, so most reviewers suggest waiting for a sale. Grab it cheap if you like quirky retro puzzles; skip it if odd item logic and soft-lock risks annoy you.
