I Expect You To Die is Schell Games' VR-only escape game about a secret agent with telekinesis, sent on seven missions against Dr. Zor and the Zoraxis organisation. Each mission is a compact, seated scene packed with traps, drawers, switches and suspicious objects, and you use your hands and telekinesis to work out how it all fits before something kills you. It is a near-essential pick for VR owners who like puzzles.
With more than 2,000 reviews and about 94% positive, players are clearly fond of it. Reviewers love the many ways to die, which turn failure into a punchline, and the nods to old spy films. They describe the scenes as interactive escape rooms where you never know which object matters and which is a decoy. A spoiler-free hint guide on the developer's site helps when you get stuck.
