Escape from Skull Dungeon is a short voxel-style escape room for one to four players in online co-op. A party of treasure hunters is trapped in a medieval dungeon and works through a chain of rooms with riddles, lever mazes and code locks, while dodging traps, boulders and wandering monsters. It suits small friend groups looking for a one-evening puzzle session.
Reviews are mixed, with about 66% of 59 positive. Players who liked it praise the variety of riddles, including one built on Shakespeare quotes, and say talking puzzles through on voice chat is the fun part. Several found it smarter than the studio's Escape from Kyoto House, while others preferred Kyoto. Solo players say it drags and is clearly built for groups.
The recurring complaints are the action bits: monsters that chase you, a tedious maze and a final boss room some groups gave up on. Others mention bugs, no save system, a few arbitrary answers and a length of 30 minutes to two hours. Worth it with friends on sale or in a bundle; skip it solo.

- Online co-op for up to four suits talking puzzles through
