Vereda is a first-person escape room adventure from M9 Games. You play an undercover agent sent to recover a secret dossier from a building in an odd little town, starting with a training puzzle in your own room and then working through a string of indoor and outdoor locations with an inventory. It suits solo players who like old-school, code-heavy escape games and do not mind a bit of maths.
Reception is mixed, at about two-thirds positive. Fans enjoy the variety of puzzles, the open-air sections that feel less cramped than most escape games, and a smooth, good-looking world. The same puzzles divide people: reviewers describe them as either very easy or strangely obscure, with many ending in a keycode, a few pun riddles, maths problems and some that lean on knowledge from outside the game.
Other complaints include colour-based clues that are hard to read and unfriendly to colour-blind players, interaction icons that flicker, and a thin story. Most players finish in two to five hours. Worth it on sale for escape room regulars who enjoy number puzzles; skip it if you want clearly signposted logic or a story.

What the dossier contains is not known, your sole focus is just to find and recover it. What you are not prepared for is the lengths the dossier has been protected. It’s down to you to use all your experience to solve the puzzles and contraptions that block your way.
Vereda is a first person 3d escape room puzzle adventure, similar to games you may have played in the ’90’s or similar to a virtual escape rooms you may have played.
